STA acquires Omnitec and opens up to the electrical automation market

STA has acquired the Rovigo company Omnitec srl, closing a strategic operation that returns it to the market as a leading company for completeness of the offer.

Omnitec has been active since 1995 in the field of automation and production of electrical panels, with strong experience in the application for the water treatment sector and beyond.

For STA this is a strategic action, which allows the Group to complete the portfolio of technological solutions and face the market in terms of new technologies. The new corporate structure combines Omnitec's complementary skills with STA's core business, already focused on the construction and management of primary and process water purification and treatment plants.

To sanction the operation, the opening of a new office in Rovigo by the end of June, which will have the function of supporting logistics and a development center for electrical panels and plant automation.
